Pastor and Staff

Currently FBC does not have a pastor; however, we do have visiting pastors to fill the pulpit each Sunday.

Worship Leader: Christine Micheals

In addition to being FBC's Worship Leader, Chris is the Band/Choir teacher at Windsor High School.  She has been a part of the music program and the church choir for years.  She is graciously serving here and is working to bring life and vitality to our worship services.  Talk to Chris if you have ideas for our church worship services or if you would be willing to help with Sunday music.

Secretary: Jamie Helbling

Jamie joined FBC staff this year, replacing Debbie Barb who had been FBC’s church secretary for 33 years.  Jamie comes to us with more than 20 years of office, administrative, and computer experience.  She is an active member at FBC teaching and  serving wherever needed, including the 4th-6th grade Girls in Action on Wednesday evenings.  She also serves on various church committees.  Should you have any questions or need any assistance relating to church communications and activities, please give her a call. Her responsibilities include preparing the newsletter and the bulletin every week, organizing the office, and working with the church calendar.

Custodian/Maintenance: Bob Hinkleman

Bob works behind the scenes to keep FBC open, in good repair and clean.  He and his wife, Melba, are active members at First Baptist, serving on multiple committees and teaching children in Sunday School.  Bob also leads boys in the Royal Ambassadors on Wednesday evenings.

Treasurer: Megan Dady Cannon

Megan grew up at First Baptist and although she works full-time for State Fair Community College in their business department, she handles all of our church financial records.  She coordinates with our Stewardship Committee to keep the church finances in proper order.  Megan also serves on FBC’s audio/visual technology team and ensures that we have sound, lights and visuals for our worship services.
